Floyd Accounting Services is run by a female accountant who specializes in small business and church/ministry bookkeeping. She wanted branding that was simple, clean and organized (much like herself) that also had a touch of femininity (accounting doesn't have to be bland, after all!). Kristy had never engaged a branding expert before, so it was fun to work through the process together of really defining her brand and foundational values.
The final logo is a touch playful, while still maintaining a professional feel. There is a slight nod to plants in the leaf flourishs, which tie into the idea of growth (a heavy theme in both ministry and finance). The deep green color not only evokes thoughts of money, but also greenery; and it works as a nice, grounded neutral. Bright accent colors like coral and blue brought some fun to the final branding. In the end, I delivered a package of logos, submarks and graphics that all tie together, but can be used in different contexts depending on the client and feel of the project.
